Timberlakes

Justin had to work today so me and Zoey decided to spend the day with my family at my cousin's cabin in Timberlakes. It has been a nice relaxing day filled with eating, naps, and four-wheeler rides. Suprisingly my big chicken dog who is afraid of everything, loves riding on the four-wheeler. She would chase us down until we let her ride with us and then she wouldn't get off.

A Different Christmas

Sadly I just realized that this is the only picture we took this Christmas. But since we have no chillins and Zoey is much cuter than me I thought I'd post this one anyways. My sister-in-law Wendy bought these cute Santa outfits for the dogs (left, Daisy middle, Zoey right, Gus - the Whatcott dogs). They were all thoroughly enjoying being dressed up as you can tell. Anyways, Christmas was a little different this year at the Whatcott home. Justin had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (I guess people still need emergency services even on holidays - go figure). I spent the night at my parents house which was fun and just like the old days, but at the same time I felt the other part of my family missing. I visited Justin for a few hours Christmas eve and then on my way home (to my parents house) he called me and said that he was just watching a movie by himself. That's no way to spend Christmas eve! I started bawling and had to turn around and go back because I didn't want him to be alone. He ended up getting a call before I got back down there but it really made me realize that Christmas is not about giving or receiving, it's about being with the people you love. In the middle of my emotions I stopped to think about how lucky I was that I could even see him for Christmas. At least he was not in another country fighting for our freedom. We are all so lucky to have the ones we love close to us. I'm so thankful for Justin and all that he does for me. I'm thankful for my family (and Justin's family) too and I'm so glad I have them close by. FAMILY ROCKS! I love you all!

Alright, Ari tagged me so instead of doing homework like I should be doing, I'll do this instead. Don't worry Ari my life is no exiting adventure either!

8 T.V. shows I like to watch
Now, honestly Justin and I have a range of channels from 2-13 that show up clearly on our tv. I really don't watch much tv for that reason and because I can't let myself get hooked on a show because then my homework won't get done (like it's not getting done right now!)

Twilight!

I went to see Twilight on Thursday (before it was officially released even!) with my sister and some of the girls at work. One of the home health agency's that we work with hosted a thank you event for their offices and rented out a theatre at Thanksgiving Point. I hate to admit that I have actually not read any of the Twilight books and frankly the story line sounded a little corny to me but I thought hey a night out with the girls and it's free! What the heck! So I went . . . . . and now I'm crazy about Twilight too! I'm going to have to put aside some homework now so I can read the books! I'm already counting down until the next movie comes out (December 2009)!

Redneck Halloween

The fire dept hosted a Halloween party this year. It was kind of a last minute thing so we were a little crunched on time in finding a costume. Note for future: It's virtually impossible to find a costume on Halloween, although if needed you could start decorating your Christmas tree. Anyways this was the best we could come up with. The sad thing is, Justin actually pulls off the white trash look very well! Have you ever seen Joe Dirt?

4th Photo Tag

Kristie tagged me! I had to post my 4th picture in the 4th folder on my computer. It's of me and Justin at the Strawberry Days Rodeo in 2007 I think. He was wild cow milking with a couple friends so that explains the getup. Notice that his nice cowboy hat is all crumpled and bent! That cow gave him a run for his money!

PS I tag Ari, Wendy, and Rosie
